In this day an age receiving top notch customer service is hard to come by. I was trying to sell my Forest River on Craigslist for a few days before Sean Millard called me, offered a guaranteed NET, and explained his no fee sales program. It sounded like a great option so we took Sean and Base camp up on their offer. Sure enough they financed a buyer and our loan was paid off. Skylar mailed us a check for the difference shortly after.

Had my RV listed on Craigs List. Sean contacted my and made these great promises on how he would handle the sale. I was somewhat apprehensive as I had a previous bad experience with a consignment dealer in another state years ago but I decided to give Base Camp and Sean a try. Base Camp RV exceeded all expectations of great customer service. It's a "real gem" located in Rocklin just off Highway 80. Just want to say that it is rare that you can find a "go to " company that truly takes care of their customers. Basecamp does that! We consigned with them with a guaranteed net to us and they kept us advised and got us a done deal. When we were trying to sell our trailer ourselves, we didn't think as a private seller, we would have to be involved in helping to arrange financing. Well, They take care of everything. Sean and team did a great job selling my Pleasureway RV. They put in a big effort with both listings and showings. Way more than I ever could have on my own. Plus - they offer financing and warranties to buyers which I also could not do. Overall, it was a great experience and went pretty much as described up front. I heard about Base Camp from a friend of my daughter. She was very pleased with them. So I thought Id give them a call. We brought our Motorhome to them and it was sold in a few weeks. I spoke with Sean on a Wednesday about the zero cost sales process. He did the comps and advised me of the net guarantee which I found acceptable. The next question was how to get the unit to their sales lot. My husband is a stroke survivor and needs care at home so my availability to drive it over would be complicated. Sean mentioned that Skylar and he could fly over so Sean could drive the unit back to Rocklin. They did so the next morning! There were some issues that needed to be addressed by the service crew which they handled very efficiently.
The Sales crew had an offer within two weeks and the check to me was UPSd overnight the day following the unit leaving the lot to the new owner. I am very pleased that my series of calls to dealers who might handle the sale led me to Base Camp. Theyre the real deal - -Anonymous
I had a friend recommend Base camp RV in Davis, I had to sell my Father-in Laws RV because he was to old to use it anymore. I worked with Sean Millard and he made the process very easy for me. I am pleased to say they not only picked up my RV, did a complete inspection and detailed the whole thing so it looked beautiful! My wife and I were beyond pleased with the team of Sean and Garrett when we decided to sell our motorhome. Sean Millard was an excellent advisor during this process. We opted to have Sean and Garrett, whom we knew would be presenting our motorhome for sale, come to us to pick up the motorhome and deliver it to Basecamp. Skylar was very accommodating and helpful to us. We were coming from out of state to view an RV that was on his lot so it takes a while to get there depending on the traffic. We ended up getting a great deal. He was able to take our 5th wheel in trade for the RV we purchased from him. Dan took us on our walk through. He was very thorough and both of these men were very knowledgeable about RV's. We also didn't have to go through the "hand off" from person to person in order to make a deal as is common with large dealerships. That was so refreshing!
Skylar has a delightful personality which made this transaction a memorable and fun experience. We would highly recommend this dealership when you decide to go shopping for your "new" rig!
